I really like this image. And you proved an important rule of photography. That rule is – never slavishly follow the rules of photography. There is a “rule” about never putting the horizon in the middle of the image. But in this case the clean sky with the horizon centered gives a nice balance to the linear elements of the foreground. Then the round shape and color of the umbrella really stands out as the focal point.
