Photographing kids is almost too easy, but hard to resist. I’ve heard of a local photography teacher who admonishes her students at the beginning of her course, “No kids, no pets, no flowers!” Last Friday night I went into Boston with a friend on a photo expedition, and we ended up spending a lot of time photographing kids playing in the splash pads near the waterfront. I was having a hard time deciding which of these shots was my favorite, so I decided to include them both.
